Educational Programs:

ONS Chemotherapy-Biotherapy Course: A two (2) day course providing a comprehensive review of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapy agents. Upon successful completion of the course and post-test, and evaluation, registered nurses will receive, from ONS, a Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card.

ONS Treatment Basics Course: A four (4) hour course providing an introduction to safe chemotherapy and biotherapy administration. Nurses who administer these drugs on a regular basis should consider taking the ONS Chemotherapy-Biotherapy Course.

OCN Review Course: A two (2) day course designed for oncology nurses preparing to take the Oncology Nurse Certification Corporation (ONCC) Oncology Certified Nurse test. The material in this course provides the candidate with a foundation of invaluable knowledge related to the eleven (11) major subject areas covered in the certification test.

Surviving Chemotherapy: A 30 – 45 minute presentation for cancer patients and caregivers. This course addresses treatment side effects, interventions for dealing with side effects, caregiver support and community resources.
