The Company
In November 2007, Jim Breedon and ReNae Dean made a decision to embark on a new adventure. Realizing a
unique need, in the Medical Oncology industry, for specialized nurse consulting and contracting services, they
formed Professional Oncology-ERNurse Consultants, Inc. Current research indicates Professional Oncology-ER
Nurse Consultants is the only company, of it's kind, in the United States. While some companies provide oncology
consulting services and others provide a wide range of per-diem nursing services, Professional Oncology-ER
Nurse Consultants provides the best of both.
Jim Breedon, RN, BSN, OCN
Chief Executive Officer
Jim has over nine years of oncology experience. He received his initial training, in oncology nursing, at Mayo
Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Jim has experience in inpatient and outpatient oncology settings as well as
EMS, critical access and metropolitan emergency nursing. Jim maintains his Florida Paramedic certification
and is licensed to practice nursing in 25 states. He provides professional nurse consultant speaker services
for Millennium Pharmaceuticals and has served on speakers bureaus for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Institute
for Medical Education and Research and Johns Hopkins Advanced Studies in Nursing. Jim is the past
President of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society and a member of the New Mexico
Cancer Council. He is the President of Professional Oncology-ER Nurse Consultants, Inc.
ReNae Dean, RN, OCN
Chief Operating Officer ReNae has over 20 years of oncology experience. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient
oncology practice. ReNae has extensive experience as an infusion nurse, mixing and administering cytotoxic
drugs, Team Leader, Nurse Manager, Director of Nurses and Special Projects Manager. Her extensive
knowledge of oncology nursing, outpatient billing and management have made her a highly respected
member of the Albuquerque Nursing Community. ReNae is the Programs Chairperson for the Albuquerque
Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society and a member of the New Mexico Cancer Council. She is the Vice
President of Professional Oncology-ER Nurse Consultants, Inc.
